概要

• This short story represents the fourth in a series of stories that are centered around a fictitious textile mill town in upstate New York in America. My plan is to complete 10 to 15 stories in a collection in such a fashion that each story interlocks or dovetails into the whole, yet each story can stand on its own. This story is unlike the preceding three in that it violates many of the time-honored principals of short story telling. This story is long, it skips back and forth through time, and deals with characters through direct point-of-view dialogue, a traditional narrator's comments, and an ultimate narrator who stands to the edges of the story providing yet another frame of reference and meaning.
