• We give an explicit description of the zonal spherical functions on quantum Grassmann manifolds of orthogonal and symplectic type. A unified parametrization of their zonal spherical functions is given in terms of Macdonald polynomials and Koornwinder's multivariable Askey-Wilson polynomials.
