• At the time of initial survey, thirteen industrial, religious and settlement sites were located in the generally undulating Zangon Katab District area (9o31'N-10oN; 8o00'E-8o31'E), underlain by Basement Complex and drained by headstreams and tributaries of the River Kaduna, which were apparently related to human exploitation of the environment, and they provide possible areas of archaeological investigations.
