1,2-Cyclohexanediaminetetraacetic Acid を用いた Fe (III) の分光分析

Fe (III) combines with CyDTA reagent to form a chelate compound which has the maximum absorption at 265mμ. This compound has a constant absorption curve at pH ranging from 3.0 to 6.3,and, in specimens containing Fe (III), the absorption was not disturbed by coexistence of even equal quantity of Ca (II), Mg (II), Cr (III), Co (II) and Zn (II) to that of Fe (III). However, Cu (II) was found to disturb the absorption showing a considerable absorption at around 270 mμ. PO_4^<-3> also disturbed the absorption at 265 mμ. From these results, it was confirmed that micro-quantitative determination of Fe (III) is possible by ultraviolet spectrophotometry with least influence of coexisting ions within the pH stable for the chelate compound employing a molar extinction coefficient of ε=8400 at the maximum absorption (265mμ).
