• Deficiencies in the lower teeth of the Ryukyu wold boar were examined using 107 specimens. Abnormal dentition were occurred in 85.18% of 27 males and 91.25% of 80 females. There were pm-1, pm-2, pm-3, pm-4, m-1 and m-2 deficiencies. Deficiencies of pm-1 occurred more frequently-80 examples on the both side, 7 on the left side and 4 on the right side. There were no significant differences between the sexes. Deficiencies of pm-2 were observed in females more than males. Other deficiencies such as pm-3, pm-4, m-1 and m-2 were scarcely observed in the both sexes.
