This paper presents results of debris flow exeriments using a shcrt flume. In the experiment, sediment quantity and roughness of a bottom of the flume are taken as several kinds. The flume is 2220mm length, and the cross section is 140mm wide and 350mm height. We have obtained a relation between debris shapes and sediment volume, a relation of sediment volume and debris speeds, and a relation of channel rouglness and debris flow velocity.
