This study examined the relations of nursing education with "self-disclosure" and "other-consciousness" which is considered to constitute part of interpersonal relation abilities. First study (l034 students answered), it was compared the differences in degree of "self-disclosure" and "other-consciousness" between nursing students (nursing universities and nursing schools) and general university students, and also differences in them between grades. Second study (255 students), it was compared the differences in degree of "self-disclosure" between to the acquaintance and to the patient. In the first result, there is no significant difference in degree of self-disclosure to same sex friends among the three groups, while at graduation degree of self-disclosure for nursing students decreased. In the second result, degree of self-disclosure to acquaintance was higher than the one to patients. And at graduation degree of self-disclosure to the acquaintance decreased, while the one to patients increased. As for "other-consciousness", there is a slight difference in some degree between the nursing and general university students. This result suggested that nursing education influenced positively on it. Because it is considered that it's differences in educational curriculum between two groups, whether they experience clinical practice or not.
