概要

• A semilinear elliptic equation with nonlinear boundary conditions which originates from population genetics is studied. The nonlinearity for the boundary conditions strongly has the effect of characterizing the behavior of the positive solutions. The super-sub-solution method, local bifurcation theory and some stability argument are used to investigate how the minimal positive solution behaves near a critical value of parameter.
