• FEEEP is a new initiative on the APEC's agenda. It indicates the probable bottlenecks caused by insufficient supply of food and energy and environmental degradation to the sustainable economic growth and population increase and aims to eliminate the bottlenecks by deliberate efforts jointly made by APEC members. After having noted the inter-related nature between the five variables and the spatial element involved in the FEEEP initiative, the author suggested that it should be effectively tackled in the APEC's Ecotech framework. He concluded with the three steps for APEC to adopt toward its joint action.
