To improve the adhesion property between addition type silicone rubber and acrylic resin, a novel adhesive was prepared. The monomers (β-MEDMS and β-MEDMVS) liable to react with addition type silicone rubber were synthesized and copolymerized with MMA. The copolymer solution in THF was used as an adhesive. Silicone rubber was cured between resin rods on the end of which the adhesive had been applied. The tensile bond strength showed the maximum value, when polymer concentration in adhesive is 10 wt%.
