In this paper we investigate expected total costs for a storage process. This process has two phases, "inflow" and "outflow", the switchover of which is controlled by a certain storage level. In these phases the storage level changes at each rate dependent on the present level. There are two inflow rates for the storage level controlled by the storage level in the inflow phase. Moreover, the large scale demand for the system may happen in both phases according to the compound Poisson process. For this process we present total expected operating and stock out costs incurred until the first epoch at which the storage level reaches or exceeds downward the level zero given that the system is in each phase at time zero.
