Among facial skin changes of aged, wrinkle formation, is a major problem which Japanese aged women keenly care about. Although it is a big concern for them, they hesitate to have a facial plastic surgery because of their conservative moral. As most Japanese are classified to Fitzpatrick skin type III or IV, the risk of side effects is higher than that of Caucasians whose skin types are mostly I or II. Here we report that combination therapy of low concentration of chemical peeling and collagen injection is useful and a satisfactory treatment for wrinkles and rhytides in Japanese women with the advantage of safety and less invasiveness.
