この論文は国立情報学研究所の学術雑誌公開支援事業により電子化されました。(1) In enzyme histochemistry the processes for preparation of tissue sections are very important, and it has been clearly proved that the reduction or disappearance of lactic dehydrogenase and DPNH diaphorase activities by fixation, embedding and dewaxing was caused by alcohol, one of the organic solvents used in the histological processes. (2) The cause of the inhibitory action of alcohol has been demonstrated to lie in the extraction of phospholipids out of the cells. (3) Although the mechanism of action of phospholipids is not evident at present, it has been made clear that phospholipids play an important role in manifestation of the activities of lactic dehydrogenase and DPNH diaphorase.
