• With this case it concerns a interesting noteworthy psychic manifestation which K. Ekbom had reported for the first time in 1938 as one of disease. After Ekbom many authors have explored accurately the symptom in spite of rarity of cases. The nosological position of the disease is but yet unknown. A now 73 years old female patient who has universal full orientations and perfect consciousness offers scarecely abnormalities out of clinical-laboratory explorations apart from general light cerebralatrophy corresponding to her ages and light EEG changes. The old woman describes in an odd wise hallucinations of small insects at her selfbody and around herself, although she can behave in good order and composedly. The attitude of the individual authors towards nosological assignment of this phenomena and my own case are dealt with and discussed.
