ヒラメ由来 Streptococcus parauberis の病原性

韓国済州島のヒラメ病魚から分離されたS. parauberis のヒラメに対する病原性を調べた。10倍段階希釈で4.5×101〜106CFU/尾を腹腔内に接種し, 14日間観察した。その結果, 4.5×101CFU/尾接種区では死亡はみられなかったが, その他では10〜80%が死亡した。死亡魚には自然発病魚と同じような口・目・背鰭周辺の出血, 腫大を伴った肝臓の褪色と脆弱化, 腹水の貯留が認められた。死亡魚から細菌が分離され, PCRによりS. parauberis と同定され, 本菌の病原性が確認された。
