This report is summarized how to select the wireless-path in mobile network environment. In order to improve the convenience of the mobile communication, we develop the mobile appliance which realizes linkage with the change of a wireless-path and the change of the coding scheme used to the application programs. The mobile appliance with communication functions which can connect to the two or more kind of mobile network, for example, IEEE802.11a/b/g, 3G・W-CDMA, etc, is able to chose these networks properly corresponding to the mobile network environment where it changes during wandering or moving by vehicles. And it is possible to use these networks also alternatively and simultaneously. On the other hand, the application program working on this mobile appliance can switch the data rates of their contents which are suitable for the selected network. This report presents a switching way between two kinds of wireless-paths and the multimedia contents flows control way on multi-path mobile network environment. This development is sponsored by The New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) as fundamental technologies development.
