This report presents the case of a patient in whom single-tooth dento-osseous osteotomv was performed to treat an ankylosed maxillary right lateral incisor. At the initial visit, the patient was The diagnosis was complete impaction of the maxillary right lateral incisor and Angle Class I accompanied by labial tipping of the maxillary and mandibular anterior teeth. At years and months after starting therapy, single-tooth dento-osseous osteotomy of the maxillary right lateral incisor was performed under general anesthesia. Postoperatively, a splint was used to avoid interference from the opposing tooth. At 1 year after surgery, vestibuloplasty was performed. As of 48 months after the end of active treatment using multi-bracket appliances, tooth mobility is absent and occlusion remains stable.
