From the crystallographic analysis on the micro-structure of the {259}<SUB>f</SUB> lenticular martensite observed by using the electron microscope, twins and dislocations in a martensitic plate are closely related to each other and they play important role in the self-accommodation and the plastic accommodation effects in the formation and growth of the {259}<SUB>f</SUB> lenticular martensite.
