Laboratory experiments were carried out to study the effects of six constant temperatures, ranging from 15 to 27.5℃, on the rate of development and emergence of Trissolcus mitsukurii, T. plautiae and T. itoi using Halyomorpha halys eggs as hosts. At 15℃, both male and female progenies completed their development to adulthood, but a few females were able to emerge from the host eggs. Both sexes developed and successfully emerged from host eggs at 17.5℃ and above. Males of all parasitoids developed faster than females at each temperature. The value of the effective cumulative temperature shows that these three parasitoids may produce 11-15 generations annually. As H. halys produce 1-2 generations annually in Japan, the results indicated that these parasitoids do not depend solely on H. halys eggs for their hosts.
