The normal range of amplitude ratios in electroneuronograms was obtained from 30 healthy people using evoked electromyogram equipment, and the results were compared with electroneuronograms obtained from 200 patients with intratemporal facial nerve palsy. The amplitude on the affected side was either abnormally small, normal, or abnormally large. Most of the patients with abnormally large amplitude showed incomplete palsy without denervation and their prognosis was revealed to be fair.
