Calcifying aponeurotic fibroma is a rare soft tissue tumor that typically occursin the distal extremities of children and adolescents. Because a calcifying aponeurotic fibromais an ill-defined mass and has a tendency to infiltrate the surrounding tissue, localrecurrence rates are 50%. We report a case of calcifying aponeurotic fibroma occurringin the elbow region, an uncommon site. The patient is followed up for 6 years withoutlocal recurrence of the tumor.
