To illustrate the consequences of the global warming effect due to the increasing CO2 level, we adopted a picture book as a tangible user interface, and merged virtual objects into a camera image of the book, which was realized by using ARToolKit. The goal of our research is to express the natural mixed reality of the contents. We participated in the 1st Kawasaki International ECO-Tech Fair 2009, and exhimited the produced contents that would raise peoples' awareness of environmental problems.
