Resistances of cylindrical resistors have been approximately calculated by meansof a tentative method. Two-dimensional resistances can be calculated using conformalmapping method. An assumption which the two-dimensional representation may be rotatedabout a central axis is introduced to get three-dimensional results. Such rotation correspondsthe integration with some weight. The calculations are made in two cases,thecylindrical resistor with electrodes on side surface at both ends and the rod-typecomposition resistor. Numerical results are in agreement with experimental resultsfor the resistorsof appropriate size.
