The stepping motor is a useful and powerful actuator in case of a directcoupling to digital control units.Inherent1y this motor has an incremental action on the contrary of ananalog servo-motor. Therefore, it's driving unit is a simple and easy tohandling. And it not use a D-A converter.In this paper,we report on the response character of the stepping motor.Usually as far as this type of motor,we must treat a non-linear differentialequation. But, in the present time we have not any conclusive analticalmethod on such an equation. Consequent1y,we usuallyanalyze this kind ofproblem with a graphical method under some assumptions.However,f rom such an over-simplified equation,we cannot get an exactconc1usions on our purpose. Then,to avoid this fault on the analysis of thestepping motor,we had tried to analyze with a digital simulation on the ful1notation of the system equations of the stepping motor.And we had taken some good results. The results is below.
