Roughness of the fructure surface varies remarkablly according to materialand force. Writers suggest that the roughness under similar process of fructuremay much depend on the grain structure of the material. They define theone dimensional roughness in the fructure surface by two parameters b and cwith respect to the average surface curve and two parameters α and H for theroughness. Practically these parameters are estimated on the impact fructuresurfaces of four kinds of steel. and then it was found that the numericals ofthese parameters may be well fit to the difference of the grain size in thesample and also these parameters of different physical meanings relate eachother.
