概要

サーバーサイドJavaの代表的な実行環境，「JVM」「Tomcat」「Hibernate」の新旧バージョンについて性能を比較した。Java EE 5に含まれるJVM1.5などいずれも新バージョンで性能向上が見られたが，差が出ないテスト・ケースもある。GMOメディアが行った検証結果から，バージョンアップの有効性が分かった。
