下のグラフは，本誌が調査した土木工事538件の評定点の分布だ。全国の地方整備局の本局が発注し，2003年1月〜12月に完了検査を実施した工事を対象としている。 平均点は75．2点。点数の分布は75〜79点の間に集中しており，全体の42％がこの範囲に収まる。80点以上を取れば，全体の上位20％以内に位置することになる。
