By assuming the concentration of calcium ions in the spring waters in limestone areas was 90 ppm and the addition of substances from other systems was zero, the concentrations of the chemical species which had to be dissolved in waters were calculated for the starting materials containing given amounts of CaCO_3 to gain that the ratios of CaCO_3 to other components in the weathering residues became to be same to those of CaCO_3 to other components in the starting material. The ratios of the chemical species whose solubility is lesser than that of CaCO_3 increase in the weathering residues during CaCO_3 is contained in them. The ratios of the chemical species whose solubility is larger than that of CaCO_3 seems to be complexes in the weathering residue.
