Preveously， dotted distribution of rectangular KClcrystal particles was observed when saturated KCl aquaoussolution layer， O.14-2.4mm thick， is dried over in a Petridish under natural evaporation of water in a room. Thepresent paper reports a simple model that such a distributionof the particle is exp1ained analytically by diffusionof solute into the particle. Then the spacing betweenthe particles and edge length of the particles aregiven in terms of the initial mass of solute per unit area，diffusion constant of solute in water， evaporation rate ofwater and the other physical constants. It is subsidiarynoted that a similar relation stands for different crystaltypes of particle such as dendrite- or amorphous-type， andalso for groups of particles.
