A simulation experiment of deformation of compressedbody was reported previously by using two dimensionalsingle crystal model，and several parameters were proposedto discuss the distribution　of local deformation. Presentpaper reports a simulation experiment about the tensiledeformation in a way similar to the previous one. That is:1) A hundred steel ba11s were floated on mercury layerin a vessel into a square plane lattice，and individualcontact between adjacent balls are filled with liquidcaster oil and so on. When the 1attice was poulled at oneedge，contriction of the lattice and break plane wereobserved. 2) Local deformation of the lattice was analyzedwith paramters: flatness， density and so on，andthen， different characters of loca1 deformnation wereobtained. Furthermore，trajectries of individual ballwere drawn. Balls at contrictry region removes to inwarddirection and the number of such ball increases accordingto viscosity of liquid at the contact of balls.
