Preliminary measurements of scattering of CuKα X-rays ($\lambda{=}1.54$ A) from liquid He3 have been made at three temperatures 0.65, 1.25, and 2.29°K. The liquid structure factor $i(s)+1$ was deduced for each case. The results generally agreed with a theoretical prediction. The distribution function for the liquid is computed by using the Fourier inversion procedure. From this, the number of the nearest neighbors and the distance of closest approach of two atoms in the liquid are estimated to be about 7 atoms and 2.3 A, respectively.
