大量の産業廃棄物が不法投棄された香川県の豊島てしま。その豊島から産廃を運び出し，プラントで処理する事業がいよいよ始まった。 事業主体は香川県。豊島に不法投棄された産廃約67万トンを海上輸送し，8km離れた直島に新設したプラントで焼却・溶融処理する。2島の間を1日2回，専用タンカーが往復。10年間ですべての処理を終える計画だ。 まずは，豊島で産廃を選別。
