V-shape time dependence of viscosity behavior of thermosetting coating on an ultrasonic delay line is described. The change of the phase difference between an output and an input electrical signal of the delay line, corresponding to the delay time, and the insertion loss are strongly related with the "V-shape" characteristics during the baking process. The change of the propagation characteristics of the delay line is useful for evaluating the "V-shape" change of viscosity, especially the minimum viscosity. The results suggest an essential relation between the viscosity change and the baking condition.
