非水系の可溶化水中におけるBaCO3超微粒子の調製

The preparation of BaCO<SUB>3</SUB> particles was carried out by bubbling of CO<SUB>2</SUB> into the system solubilizing aqueous Ba(OH)<SUB>2</SUB> solution in the isooctane or cyclohexane solution of polyoxyethylene nonylphenyl ether (average ethylene oxide unit : 4, 6, 8 or 10, the abbreviation is NP-4, -6, -8 or -10). In NP-4/isooctane system, the monodispersed rodlike BaCO<SUB>3</SUB> particles were formed at any molar ratio of H<SUB>2</SUB>O to NP-4 at 0°C.<BR>Similar particles were also formed at 2.25 molar ratio of H<SUB>2</SUB>O to NP-4 in several concentration of aqueous Ba(OH)<SUB>2</SUB> solution at 55°C. The monodispersed rodlike BaCO<SUB>3</SUB> particles were also obtained at 4.5 molar ratio of H<SUB>2</SUB>O to NP-6 at several concentration of NP-6 in cyclohexane. The size of the rodlike BaCO<SUB>3</SUB> particles prepared in NP-4, 6, 8 and 10/cyclohexane system decreased with increasing oxyethylene chain length of surfactants at 25°C.
