Regarding the physical properties of polymers contained fillers, the relation between. their structure and properties has been studied especially for the carbon black filled rubbers which show important roles in their practical use. The systematic and basic research of the properties of polymers contained pigments is quite few and this paper-deals with the several parts of the results of the systematic research obtained for the behavior of pigments added for the crystalline polypropylene.<BR>The physical properties used here for the polymer samples are those obtained through stress relaxation and torsion tester at room temperature and higher temperature. As the results, it became clear that the pigments added to the polymers showed the filler effects, the change of degree of second cross-linkage, and the increase or decrease of polymer stability. There is a remarkable difference in the physical behavior between inorganic. and organic pigments. This results from the fact that the chemical structure, the-properties of surface and the sizes of particle of the pigments delicately affect to the formation of crystal of polymers.
