After neoadjuvant chemotherapy, total laryngectomy and radical neck dissection on the left side of neck was performed. The patient has been disease free of 12 months. We discussed its clinical feauture, pathological findings and the treatment as well as a review of the literature of this disease.<BR>Among malignant tumors of the larynx, adensquamous carcinoma seemed to be extremely rare.
