This paper Proposes an efficient lossless video coding scheme based on motion compensation and 3D prediction. Not only predictors but also motion vectors are iteratively optimized for each frame so that a coding rate of prediction errors can have a minimum. Simulation results indicate that coding rates of the proposed coding scheme are 0.9-2.5 bits/pel lower than those of a JPEG-LS-based intra-frame coding scheme.
