In this letter, a novel compact antenna design for tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) receiver to operate at 433.92 MHz is presented. This antenna consists of solid inverted-F antenna (IFA), asymmetric co-planar waveguide, tapered-balun and tapered-feeding structure, making it easy to overcome the variable environment. A prototype of the proposed antenna with 75.5 mm in length, 26.5 mm in width and 15 mm in height is fabricated and experimentally investigated. Experimental results are shown to verify the validity of theoretical work.
