A 56-year-old man referred for hip pain and neurogenic bladder was found in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to have a sacral tumor. Excisional biopsy showed small-cell carcinoma, followed by general examination detecting a liver tumor and colon cancer. He underwent 50Gy radiation for the sacral tumor and chemolipiodolization twice, plus left colectomy. Observing neovascularization at the lateral hepatic segment from the omentum, we dissected it. Chemolipiodolization twice reduced the tumor to 9x8cm, enabling left hepatic lobectomy. He further underwent 12 chemotherapy courses with CDDP and CPT11, and remains a survivor in the 30 months since the sacral tumor was diagnosed.
