概要

• 21世紀はコンテンツの世紀である．コンテンツは文化的，産業的側面など多様な側面があり，コンテンツ技術の健全な発達が国家的重要課題となっている．本稿では、コンテンツ技術を支える情報技術に携わる私たちに課される基本的姿勢は何であるかを問い，解説する．最初に，基本的な用語である"技術"，"倫理"等の用語について解説する．更に本会，IEEE SIT日本支部における倫理研究の動向について述べる．最後に情報技術の光とその影について論じ，特に影の部分に焦点を当て，情報技術の成果であるテレビや携帯電話等々の存在が，乳幼児育成環境に与える影響について，従来の研究動向を踏まえて解説する．
