The aim of this study is to investigate the deposition remains of fuel droplets that impinge repeatedly on a hot surface. The fuel droplets tested are diesel fuel, bio-diesel fuel and bio-blended diesel fuel. The deposits formation depended on droplet impingement interval, hot surface temperature, types of fuel and heat transfer of fuel deposits. Bio-diesel fuel and its blend produced rapid development of fuel deposits comparing to diesel fuel. The surface temperature of deposits decreased with repetition of impingement when the wet condition was maintained by a short impingement interval. It resulted in a huge amount of deposits.
