舌骨の位置異常で挿管困難が予測された患者の麻酔経験

舌骨が通常より低く，甲状軟骨前面に位置する患者の麻酔を経験した．患者には術前に上気道狭窄を疑わせる症状や嚥下障害はなく，麻酔導入時の用手マスク換気も容易であった．挿管困難の可能性も考慮してエアウェイスコープ<SUP>®</SUP>を用いたが，良好な視野を得られ，挿管は容易だった．術終了抜管後も上気道異常を疑わせる症状は認められなかった．
