Experiments about the dobule decomposition of KCL with MgSO<SUB>4</SUB> were condudted at 25°C. Fox the double decomposition, commercial reagents of KCl and MgSO<SUB>4</SUB> were used. The amounts of KCl, MgSO<SUB>4</SUB>·7H<SUB>2</SUB>O and H<SUB>2</SUB>O in the initial mixtures were calculated graphically, as shown in the previous paper, by means of equilibrium diagram for the four components system of the reciprocal salts pair, K<SUB>2</SUB>Cl<SUB>2</SUB>+MgSO<SUB>4</SUB>⇔K<SUB>2</SUB>SO<SUB>4</SUB>+MgCl<SUB>2</SUB>. Four series or experimental condition were selected, i, e., two ones for the best yield of schoenite which give the mothor liquors at the points p and t, one for the best yield of leonite which gives the mothor liquor at the point s, and one for the best yield of potassium spluhate which gives the mothor liquor at the point m. The mixtures were stirred, at 25°C, by means of a glass stirrer for a certain period or time, the mothor liquors were separated, their compositions were determined, were compared with those calculated graphically, and thus the progress of reactions were followed. Sometimes, the compositions of crystalls gain were used for the same perposes.<BR>As the results, the author concluded as follows: for the purpose to get "Kalimagnesia", the reaction proceded most smoothly, when the mixture was chosen to give the mothor of the composition at the point p, and the point s was most difficult to reach. The reaction to get MgSO<SUB>4</SUB>. directly seemes procede smoothly. Nevertheless, all reactions procede too slowly. The author suggested that this may by improved by the use or the finer crystalls or wet ones for the double decomposition.
