• The permselectivities of sodium and hyrogen ions across the cation exchange membrane were studied by means of the electrodialytic concentration method.<BR>As the result of the study, it was found that the permeability of sodium ions was much less than that of hydrogen ions and the ratio of the permeability of sodium ions to hyrdogen ions about 0.15-0.20.<BR>The coefficient of permselectivity, T<I><SUP>Na</SUP><SUB>H</SUB></I>, was considered almost independent of the concentration of sodium ions in the solution, and it showed a tendency to decrease with an increase in the concentration of hydrogen ions in the solution.
