Total and mean weights of deposited dust in Keihin indurtrial and suburban areas were estimated from horizontal distribution function of deposited dust in this area.<BR>From monthly measurement of deposited dust using deposite gauges at eight observation sites in this area from May, 1959 to December, 1967, horizontal distribution function of deposited dust was represented by Dp=d/<I>x</I>e where Dp is weight of deposited dust (ton/km2. month), d and <I>l</I> are constants and x is the distance from the center of this industrial area (km).<BR>Therefore, total weight Dt<I>OR</I> (ton/month) of dust deposited in circular area of radius R km whose center was in the industrial area was calculated as Dt<I>OR</I>=∫<I>R</I><I>O</I>2π<I>R</I>2<BR>Mean weight Dm<I>OR</I> (ton/km2. month) of deposited dust was expressed by Dm<I>OR</I>=Dt<I>OR</I>/πR2<BR>There was positive correlation between the areal mean value proposed by the authors and arithmetric mean of measured weight of deposited dust, and the former was smaller than the latter.<BR>Yearly mean value of Dt<I>OR</I> in the circular area of radius 15 km from 1959 to 1967 was 6, 200-40, 000 ton/month, and was 8, 300-14, 000 ton/month in the area of redius 20 km.
