The adsorptions of thiazolidine 4-carboxylic acid (I), thiazolidine 4-carboxylicmethylester (II), and N-acetyl thiazolidine 4-carboxylic acid (III), on silver bromide grains were investigated for the purpose of elucidating the mechanism of reaction of silver halide with thiazolidine compounds. The determination of adsorbed amount of I or II was carried out by iodine-azid reaction method andthat of III was done by neutralization analysis. Consequently the saturation-type adsorption curves were obtained for all compounds, irrespective of pH. As the results, it is concluded that either both of COOH and NH or-Sis effective.
