Art and religion are sometimes misunderstood having nothing to deal with the logic. This is a tendency particularly strong among Japanese. An inductive probation could easily be given to this fact. The similar condition assumedly existed in Europe before the nineteenth century. The anal hoarding character having been popular among the middleclasses may have a reason to be considered a product of the above tendency. At least, there might be the enough reason that the tendency could be one of the causes. John Stuart Mill beautifully solved this problem by organizing and establishing the inductive logic which gives a solid foundation for the manysidedness, today's interdisciplinary approach of sciences. Inductive logic succeeded in accomodating into its own total system these "unanalyzable" elements of art and religion with attaching a flag: "unanalyzable". It is apparent that Mill, a trade house servant for thirty five years, found this universal methodology of inductive logic through attending to his own assignments. Inductive logic behind his manysidedness is, therefore, the basics of trade house operations as well as the principle of the modern capitalism and democracy.
