A 66-year-old woman was found to have bilateral hilar lymphadenopathy in August, 1994. The diagnosis of sarcoidosis was made in our hospital, and she was followed up thereafter. Numbness at right upper extremity developed in June, 1999, and magnetic resonance image (MRI) of the cervical spinal cord showed space occupying lesion at C4-C7. Clinically, we suspected neurosarcoidosis. Following the administration of corticosteroid, MRI findings and neurological symptoms improved. Considering the response to treatment and low possibility of other diseases, spinal cord lesions appeared to be due to sarcoidosis. Involvement of neurons system should be checked carefully in sarcoidosis, because it may affect the prognosis of the disease.
