Only few cases of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) have been noted in primary lesions of the uterine corpus. However, some cases of NHL in the uterine cervix were reported. In the present study, a case of NHL which is suggested to be in a primary lesion of the uterine corpus is reported. The patient was a 78 year-old female. She had a painless, first-size hard tumor in the left inguinal lesion, with her uterine corpus having enlarged to fist-size. A total hysterectomy was performed with resection of the left inguinal tumor. From the pathologic findings, NHL of the uterine body was diagnosed postoperatively. She was given adjuvant chemotherapy with CHOP. However, she died at 8 months after the operation.<BR>In a immunohistochemical analysis, this tumor was determined to be a diffuse, large and B cell phenotype of NHL in the LSG classification.
