Brenner tumor associated with cystadenocarcinoma of the ovary: Report of a case

Brenner tumors represent about 1% of primary ovarian tumors, approximately 500 having been studied and described in the medical literature.This case of Brenner tumor of the right ovary associated with cystadenocarcinoma of the left ovary is reported because of the rarity. Judging from the pathological examination, the right ovarian tumor is pseudomucinous cystadenoma with Brenner tumor, and the left one is papillary serous cystadenocarcinoma.Brenner tumors are occasionally found in the wall of a pseudomucinous cystadenoma like this case. Malignant change is very rare and never secret a hormone.A case of Brenner tumor in the wall of a pseudomucinous cystadenoma associated with cystadenocarcinoma is described in detail and the literatures are reviewed.
